Did you know that we have on average about 60k thoughts each day?
And most are the same thoughts we had yesterday, AND most of them are negative.
These thoughts create our internal environment. When we are not well, happy or at peace with ourselves or our life, it’s not evidence something is wrong with us, it’s evidence that the environment we are creating inside of us is blocking our bloom.
We are so conditioned to judge, hate or berate ourselves, then we try to force ourselves to do things differently so we will feel differently, but we won’t behave better by making ourselves feel worse.
You can change your inner environment by starting and ending your day by tuning in and turning on the feeling of wellness, happiness and peace. Here’s how…
Take a few deep breaths then say to yourself a few times:
- May I be well
- May I be happy
- May I be at peace with myself and my life
Then breath consciously and think of those people in your life who you have been holding a grudge against or irritated by, and bring one to mind at a time and mentally say:
- May you be well
- May you be happy
- May you be at peace with yourself and your life
This creates the environment of love and compassion within your own heart and mind. It’s subtle and it really works. Try it every day for the next 7 days, especially anytime your inner environment is feeling toxic. You’ll feel yourself blossoming a little more each and every day.
