I have changed.

Over a 15 months ago I decided it was time to make some major changes in my life.

I left Equinox after teaching there for over twenty years, with the dream of moving up, moving on and moving beyond the walls of the gym.

I didn’t think it was going to take as long or be as hard as it was, but it makes this moment all the sweeter. There were times I wanted to just give everything up and be a stay at home mom and just focus on raising my girls. I felt tired and uninspired. I let myself indulge in the idea of doing nothing. Of being a mess. Of not knowing what was next.

So, I decided I would put myself in my own reinvention bootcamp which was a combination of starting my day by putting myself in a peak state by going for a run (which I never had the desire to do before) instead of doing my usual workout at the gym, and ending my day with a guided meditation every night. I let myself be with the uncertainty, the not-knowing and the chaos, without trying to fix it; and I found myself rejuvenated and re-inspired.

I am beyond excited to share with you what I have been working on and the changes I have made.

Though I’ve moved from using the name Sati Life to using my name Patricia Moreno, intenSati is still at the heart of what I do, and now my work has expanded to include daily practices through Sati365 and Daily Dose Challenge, as well as more speaking engagements and thought leadership.

In the spirit of expansion and change, I welcomed a business partner, Lucy Osborne, who has taken over branding and creative direction, and I am proud of the work she has done to upgrade our look and website. Now you’ll finally be able to see it in its entirety, though you have probably noticed some changes in the past few months!

Are you in a phase of letting go? Feeling uncertain or uninspired? Just let yourself be where you are. We all have seasons or phases we go through and they are all necessary. We need the dark and the light. It is not always harvesting season, sometimes it is time to prune and clear out the old to make way for the new.

Focus on tuning into what you need in the moment and trust the process. Nothing stays the same and the one constant we can count on is that everything is always changing.

There is good in every season and in every stage.

I am very proud of this change and what it represents for me and my team, and I look forward to introducing you to the practices I have created for you!
